The first Pink Floyd song on the blog, but it will definitely not be the last. A brilliant piece from the Animals album. Brilliant English 80’s rock with Morrisey. I’m not a big fan of either Morrisey or The Smiths but this song, it just instantly got stuck in my head from when I first heard it. I can’t relate to the lyrics but they are delivered in such a way it makes me want to understand. http://youtube.com/watch?v=INgXzChwipY

Forget Her by Jeff Buckley. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noQH6lyu0sA Jeff Buckley, the genius! I love his melow songs, even though this one is really depressing. “Her love was a joke from the day that we met ” Luckily I’ve never been in that position. Expect more Buckley songs!

Loved this song ever since I saw the Lip Dub over at Vimeo. http://www.vimeo.com/173714
I later realised it’s used as title song for Peep Show, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peep_Show_(TV_series)
Quite an energizing song, despite the sad lyrics.
